This thing is fantastic! I will say that cutting the apples in half before dropping them in the hopper will be worth your time. It allow the teeth to pull the apples down between the two rolling pins easier, and prevents large apples from just rolling around on top of the rollers. I used it to crush about 400 Lbs of apples last season, and plan on doubling that this year. I highly recommend it. I do not see any part of the design that could use improving, it's a great machine.

The fruit crusher was simple to use and very effective, we crushed several kilos of home-grown apples before pressing, brilliant!
