The press was very well made, very robust and having three varieties of apples and two of pear three available we already have made approx 100 bottles of juice. I would recommend the pasteuriser which we also bought and this allowed us to enjoy the produce through the winter. Very easy to clean down after use with simple hosing off and drying. Prior to purchase  Toby was helpful with his advice also.

Ordering process efficient, delivery process efficient. The product worked well (for 2017's cider pressing).

We were really impressed with the press at first but unfortunately the wooden lid split under pressure. As the press was operated by hand I was unaware that there was a maximum pressure (I'm not that strong) It was the last press of the season so we are hoping that it can be glued ready for next autumn but fear that the yield will be compromised.

Hi Jen, Apologies for the troubles and thank you for sending us your feedback. Everything is still under warranty, so I'll send you a new lid/top pressing plate...

NB When the press was delivered there was evidence that it had been mishandles in transit, the box was ripped in places and a plastic bucket (scratter) inclosed had shattered. As there appeared to be no significant damage beyond a few chips to the paintwork I did not notify you as delivery was not straightforward due to our property being 4WD access only.
