The scratter is a simple but very effective machine. Just load whole apples into the stainless steel hopper and turn the handle. A bucketful of apples (about 5 kg) can be milled in around 3 and a half minutes.This quality fruit press takes up to 18 kg of pulped fruit and yields around 8 litres (14 pints) of juice per pressing.

Bought this as a present so haven’t used it myself. However, I’ve seen it assembled and it’s quality. Really well made, sturdy, and looks like it’s going to be perfect for the job. Great service, instructions and usage ideas. Very happy with product and service. Will definitely recommend Pressfruit to anyone looking for this type of machinery.

Good products with a couple of possible improvements. Cant dismantle the press – the main shaft is stuck solid – used grease before assembly and tried everything but wont budge. Needs more blocks for press and some kind of wooden board to press apples in the scratter would help

We bought the above items as we now have a glut of apples and pears. We already make our own beer and country wines so cider making was next on the list. If we knew how easy it was we would have done it years ago. Our items arrived promptly and well packed. We were very happy with the quality and the fruit press was easy to assemble (Hubby). When we started our first batch of perry and cider it was really easy and we ended up with several dozen bottles of both. So we have no hesitation in giving our products 5 stars.
