Happy with product grated apples easily also used on manglewerzel with same ease. Legs could be longer and possibly thicker this would be my only negative
issue

I found the grater easy to use with apples, although I made a wood pressing block which greatly speeded things up. I don’t use a press, I put the pulp in a laundry bag and I use a spin dryer which works well. The grater is well made and the stainless steel version I have should last a lifetime. I am very happy with the purchase. As a option it would be good to have a pulley so it can be motorised. Winding the crank is easy so it’s a great product. Well recommended.

I bought the grater to speed up apple juice making. Prior to this I would cut then mash it a pick axe handle the apples to maximise the juice. While the grater works well and speeds things up it doesn’t appear to give as much juice as the mashing when pressed. It is just one harvest so I look forward to really testing it next year

It performed very well but was hard work. At our age (77 & 74) it was an effort. Maybe we should have bought an electric one but we believe in hard work so will use it for a few more years. Good exercise!
